This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we use it, who may receive it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Greek data protection law.

2. Information we collect

Quote and contact requests

When you request a quote or contact us, we may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, requested service, expected quantity, project timeline, project stage, message, and any context included in the request.

Files you choose to upload

You may voluntarily attach production or project files, such as Gerber files, bills of materials, drawings, spreadsheets, specifications, archives, or images. These files may contain personal or business-confidential information. Please only provide information that is necessary for us to evaluate your request and that you are authorised to share.

Technical and security information

When you use the website, our hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, date and time of access, and security or error events. This information is normally recorded in server logs and is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Cookies and similar technologies

The public website uses only technologies that are necessary for operation, security, and form protection. WordPress may set essential cookies for logged-in administrators. Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser-based signals and necessary storage to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. At the date shown above, we do not intentionally use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies on the public website. If this changes, we will update this policy and introduce any consent controls required by law before those technologies are enabled.

3. How and why we use personal data

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis. Depending on the circumstances, we use it to:

• review and respond to quote, contact, and technical enquiries;
• take steps at your request before entering into a contract and manage any resulting business relationship;
• communicate about requirements, pricing, availability, production, testing, and delivery;
• protect the website and forms from spam, fraud, abuse, and security threats;
• maintain appropriate business, accounting, and compliance records;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

The relevant legal bases are primarily steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and protecting our systems (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Where consent is legally required for a separate purpose, we will request it clearly and you may withdraw it at any time.

No marketing opt-in: submitting a quote request does not subscribe you to promotional email. We will use your contact details to respond to and follow up on that request or an associated business relationship.

4. Cloudflare Turnstile

Our quote form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile evaluates technical and browser signals to determine whether a request is likely to come from a person rather than a bot. When the form is submitted, the resulting security token and your IP address are sent to Cloudflare for server-side verification. We use Turnstile because we have a legitimate interest in preventing spam, automated abuse, and attacks against the website.

Cloudflare may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its applicable data protection terms. 5. Who may receive your data

Access is limited to people and service providers who need the information for the purposes described above. Recipients may include:

• authorised Digitec Hellas personnel and contractors;
• website hosting, infrastructure, backup, and technical support providers;
• email delivery and mailbox providers used to receive and manage enquiries;
• Cloudflare for Turnstile security verification;
• professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, insurers, or legal advisers; and
• public authorities, courts, or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell personal data and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing. Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are based on an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR.

6. How long we keep personal data

• Unsuccessful or preliminary enquiries: normally for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for a dispute, security matter, or legal obligation.
• Customer and transaction records: for the duration of the business relationship and afterwards for the periods required by Greek accounting, tax, and commercial law or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
• Uploaded files: temporary server copies created during form submission are deleted after the email is sent. Copies delivered to our business mailbox are retained with the related enquiry and may also exist in secured email backups for their normal backup lifecycle.
• Technical and security logs: for the operational periods configured by our hosting and security providers and no longer than reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymise it, or securely isolate it until deletion from routine backups.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. These include access controls, software maintenance, anti-spam verification, protected administrative access, and secure hosting and email practices. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal data through the quote form.

8. Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal data and receive a copy;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of your data;
• request restriction of processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where data portability applies;
• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
• lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

9. Automated decision-making and children

We do not use personal data submitted through this website to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. Turnstile performs automated security analysis only to help distinguish legitimate form submissions from automated traffic.

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the quote form.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version will always be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
